Exeter Agri-Energy is a renewable energy company that converts animal and food waste into electricity.
In partnership with a 3rd generation family-run dairy farm, Exeter Agri-Energy (EAE) is advancing Maine’s renewable energy and agricultural industries in an effort to ensure viability for generations to come.
The team at EAE needed help to create a brand identity that would set them apart in the industry. In addition, they needed an online presence to build credibility and trust within the community. Together, we set out to create a site that communicates and reflects this family-run business’s mission, and also facilitates communications between the general public and company stakeholders. The site design should also allow the small team easy access to make updates as they grew.
The company and website launched in 2012, but remains one of my favorite projects. Their business model and mission align with my beliefs in supporting small mission-driven businesses. The team was a pleasure to work with and we had fun learning about each other’s businesses. I really enjoyed learning about their process and approach to turning cow manure into renewable energy!
